Air ScheduleKCNI stands for "Keeping Central Nebraska Informed". KCNI backs up that statement by providing up to date weather, news, sports and agricultural news. KCNI is an affiliate of the Brownfield network which provides agriculture information at the following times (Monday - Friday).
KCNI's news affiliate is CNN, which provides the national news report at the top of every hour. At 6/7/12/5 daily, KCNI presents a complete summary of national, regional and local news, weather and sports. KCNI also takes pride in providing its listening audience with up to date weather information. Area weather forecasts can be heard at the top and bottom of each hour. When severe weather strikes, KCNI provides continuous weather coverage to keep people up to date on weather watches and warnings. For those interested in the Stock Market, KCNI works with the local Edward Jones office to provide the Wall Street - Main Street Stock Market Report at 12:30 and 5:30, Monday - Friday. Every Monday thru Friday, KCNI designates the 10-11 hour as its "Information Hour". During that time KCNI airs "Public Affairs", which is hosted by News Director Matt Goosey. The show centers on issues of local interest. That is followed by the Hospital Report and Community Calendar. Community Calendar is a rundown of all events happening in and around the listening area. At 10:30 a.m. Bob Bowles hosts the Partyline Program. He take phone calls from listeners who have things to sell, trade, or give away. It's a fun half hour where you never know what might happen! On Sundays, following the noon news, KCNI airs "Outdoor Nebraska". The show is produced by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and is hosted by Ralph Wall. Daily |
